The Uncensored Alternative Social Media Network To Facebook
“Free speech is under assault — not only in repressive dictatorships suddenly able to influence global conversations through the Internet, but across the Western world, and even in the American bastion of free expression. Absolute protection for speech as an inalienable right has given way to bitter squabbling over how much free expression should be sacrificed for various, ostensibly noble goals, and who the censors will be.”
Last month, Facebook launched what it called an “Initiative for civil courage online,” the aim of which, it claims, is to remove “hate speech” from Facebook — specifically by removing comments that “promote xenophobia.” Facebook is working with a unit of the publisher Bertelsmann, which aims to identify and then erase “racist” posts from the site. The work is intended particularly to focus on Facebook users in Germany.
At the launch of the new initiative, Facebook’s chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, explained that, “Hate speech has no place in our society — not even on the internet.” She went to say that, “Facebook is not a place for the dissemination of hate speech or incitement to violence.”
WHAT FACEBOOK FAILS TO RECOGNIZE (OR JUST DOESN’T CARE):
Totalitarianism is the politicization and control of every aspect of life. It can easily be sugar-coated and sold with high-minded language. When it begins slipping in more sinister directions, the supporters of “benevolent totalitarianism” are willing to forgive its appetites, because they don’t want to surrender their sense of idealism… and they really don’t mind if people they loathe are oppressed.
The new twist on this grim old formula is the rise of computerized communication, which makes it possible for ordinary people to share their thoughts as never before… but also gives a few corporate titans unprecedented power to both censor our communications, and conceal the censorship. Automated “hate speech” suppression systems keep human fingerprints off censorship decisions. Some of the most insidious social media censorship systems keep the targeted user from realizing he has been censored – he still sees his own post, but has no idea the system is hiding it from the outside world.
To find out more, in the Search Bar of Facebook Type: “Initiative for civil courage online”
Take a moment to share your story or idea supporting counter speech, with the goal of combating online extremism and hate speech. In order to make change, everyone needs to feel empowered to share their voice and exercise #?civil courage.
Netz gegen Nazis is an online portal which details the people, ideologies and strategies behind far-right extremism in Germany. The aim is to inform the people of the best ways to counter the hate spread by the far-right, and how to help those who have joined right-wing extremist groups to leave them. #?civilcourage
Extreme Dialog aims to reduce the appeal of violent extremism to young people, and offer a positive alternative to extremist material and propaganda found online. They released a series of documentary films telling the personal stories of Canadians affected by violent extremism; including former members of violent extremist groups, survivors of extremist violence, and the families of those that have joined extremist movements. #?civilcourage
I believe Breitbart hit the nail on the head about what Facebook is doing when they said:
“Citizens must learn to weigh their words very carefully. That’s a way of teaching them to weigh their very thoughts carefully, internally policing themselves, lest external social-justice police have to be called in. We are told to accept this new, constrained view of free expression because only “bad” thoughts will be suppressed, but as Murray demonstrates, the definition of bad-thought becomes elastic very quickly, and the ability to write those definitions is a source of incredible power.”
I don’t know about you but I’ve about had it with outlets that continually lie, manipulate, and abuse the masses for their own gain. Specifically Facebook, Twitter, and countless others working towards the elite agenda with little recourse about the impact they are having on humanity so long as their pockets are filled with money.
It’s time for us Americans to take a stand against such groups and make our voices heard. If we continue to allow these manipulative giants to rule over us then we can kiss our freedoms goodbye. I for one, won’t stand by and let it happen. I will share what they are doing with everyone and anyone willing to listen. I will no longer allow them to rule over me in such a manner that they know every jot and tittle about my life and I believe you feel the same way.
That said, if by now you haven’t figured out that Facebook is in cahoots with the government, then I feel for you. For anyone not aware of the issues, the following were two examples I found buried in their terms and services:
How do we respond to legal requests or prevent harm?
We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm.
Vendors, service providers and other partners.
We transfer information to vendors, service providers, and other partners who globally support our business, such as providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how our Services are used, measuring the effectiveness of ads and services, providing customer service, facilitating payments, or conducting academic research and surveys. These partners must adhere to strict confidentiality obligations in a way that is consistent with this Data Policy and the agreements we enter into with them.
For those who are well aware of the issues it’s high time you readied yourself to switch over toSeen.life. It is a fairly new site that is similar to Facebook but without all the censorship crap.
Last century alone, the utopia promised by Socialist/Marxist/Communist politicians who promised a more “fair” and “equitable” lifestyle for their people came at a cost of almost 100 MILLION dead human beings. The notion that, “it will be different this time,’” is only further proof we’ve failed the youth and our education system is broken. George Santayana once famously said:
“When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
The United States is truly entering very troubling times right now, as we head full throttle towards the next iteration of a failed socialist state. Never before in history has a country the size of the United States had any measure of success under socialist principles, but that fact is completely lost on so many of today’s Americans whose only concern seems to be, “What can you do for ME?”
Writing at Liberty Unyielding on Saturday, retired Naval Intelligence officer J. E. Dyer said that it’s time to “break” the Internet as we know it, starting with the big three social media and search engine sites, namely, Google, Facebook and Twitter.
“They’re all implementing policies to shut down the voices of freedom in their forums,” she said. “It’s one thing to police obscenity and personal attacks. It’s another thing entirely to define the word ‘gun’ as an offense, and bias content-oriented algorithms against it.”
It’s ridiculous to “suspend” users for posting politically conservative content – and yet, in the blogger forums I correspond with, such suspensions are now commonplace. “I’m in Facebook jail” for X number of days has become a constant refrain. We’re not talking about people who use expletives or make threats online. We’re talking about people who merely post conservative sentiments and memes, and links to (very mainstream) conservative websites.
The social media and browsing giants are private companies. They can run things the way they want; it’s their dime. But that’s why they need to be broken. They can’t be allowed to become a vehicle for marginalizing non-compliant voices. The default model for social media and browsing needs to be variety, diversity, and freedom – not intellectual conformity. Freedom is what needs to pay off.
If your belief system or values don’t align with those of a far left persuasion, and you decide to voice those beliefs, you can expect to get your account suspended or thrown in the “Twitter Gulag” for some indefinite amount of time.
Anyone who has read, The Department Of Justice Prepares To Step Up War On “Domestic Extremists,” will most likely be blown away at how militant the government has become about a person’s belief system or their religious convictions. Per a Department of Defense training manual obtained by Judicial Watch in a Freedom of Information Act request, we learned that the criteria a SECRET UNELECTED OBAMA OFFICIAL has for determining a “domestic extremist” is as follows:
“Americans who are ‘reverent of individual liberty,’ and ‘suspicious of centralized federal authority’ are possible ‘extreme right-wing’ terrorists.
The document linked above also lists people who embrace “individual liberties” and honor “states’ rights,” among other characteristics, as potential “extremists” who are likely to be members of “hate groups.”
Finally, the document goes on to call the Founding Fathers, “extremists.”
Keep in mind, Twitter’s suspension ban, and locking notifications do not inform users which rule they have supposedly broken, instead Twitter simply states that the user has somehow impinged on the the terms of service, and their account is suspended.
Finding out the reason an account has been punished is generally impossible on Google, Facebook, or Twitter, and you can see a classic example at the bottom of this post is in an email I sent to Facebook. After first receiving an email from Facebook with a survey saying I was one of their “most valuable advertisers,” I responded asking:
As one of Facebook’s “most valuable advertisers,” why is it that every time ask for Facebook’s policy on posting in groups, so I can make certain I am not in violation of it, none of my emails are responded to?
Here’s the reality: If you openly favor conservative ideals like pro-life, the Second Amendment, or criticize the government’s violation of the Constitution, expect your posts to be censored heavily, or your account banned all together. Everywhere you look, Free Speech is being annihilated. Not only are companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Google, censoring you, they are reporting people to Obama’s new Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, who has Created a Gestapo To Target Americans With “Anti-Government Views”
Twitter is also engaging win what’s known as “shadowbanning.” According to Breitbart’s Milo Yiannopoulos, it’s very real:
Shadowbanning, sometimes known as “Stealth Banning” or “Hell Banning,” is commonly used by online community managers to block content posted by spammers. Instead of banning a user directly (which would alert the spammer to their status, prompting them to create a new account), their content is merely hidden from public view. . .
However, Twitter isn’t merely targeting spammers. For weeks, users have been reporting that tweets from populist conservatives, members of the alternative right, cultural libertarians, and other anti-PC dissidents have disappeared from their timelines. A similar phenomenon is happening at Facebook, Dyer adds:
Something similar to shadowbanning has been evident at Facebook in the last several weeks, to anyone who runs a conservative Facebook page. The trend that’s been especially noticeable to me is this one: meme images of the type that used to quickly get thousands of shares and likes, and dozens or hundreds of comments, can now go for days and gather only a few dozen shares and likes. What these images have in common is that they’re eye-catching, funny, meme-tastic – and pro-gun rights.
The conclusion is that such memes aren’t getting exposure, because Facebook’s algorithms have been biased against them. This is probably related to Facebook’srecent banning of private, non-dealer gun sales, and presumably is not inadvertent.

She goes on to warn of a sort of “weaponized” Internet where those who do not opt in to the Orwellian thought-control can and ultimately will be made invisible and tracked like criminals.
“There was a time when it was enough for conservatives to have success with news and opinion content online. But the Internet is being transformed at a much less visible level now: at the level of basic browsing and social media algorithms, the dynamic but obscure arrangements that enable us to ‘see’ and connect with each other to exchange information,” she said.
To deal with this, she said, we must develop an “alternet,” but that will require resources and the will to create something where freedom remains.
I’ve written time and again about the abuses meted out to users by Facebook. Facebook — recently called the world’s most dangerous censor — is already working to shape and control language in Europe, with the blessings of European governments. It won’t be long before that becomes the norm in the United States.
THE ALTERNET IS HERE:
HERE ARE SOME OF THE DIFFERENCES AT Seen.Life:
No censorship! Keep in mind they do have a Terms of Service that will need to be followed for things like pornography, copyright violations and defamation. If they receive a complaint, they’ll investigate. If you are accustomed to the freewheeling style at Before It’s News, you’ll enjoy Seen.Life
NO ID required. Facebook is now asking certain people for their ID’s. That’s beyond the pale. You can use whatever name you’d like at Seen and no ID required.
They won’t sell your data, in fact they don’t even collect it (other than your email so you can receive notifications).
No limit to your account’s friends. If you’re popular enough to get over 5,000 friends, we think that’s great! More power to you!
Private and secure chat rooms! These are strongly encrypted and there’s no snooping.
With the way Facebook is headed it’s not going to be a place you want to stay. Sign up and create an account at Seen.Life and get away from this invasive censorship!
If you formerly bought, sold or traded guns or ammo on Facebook and can no longer do that, we’d like to invite you to Seen.Life.
