The problem is the government should have never been able to get to the size it is. When you rely on government to create jobs instead of the private sector this is the mess you create.
This mess was created by design to give government / politicians more control over the public. It gets votes and creates wedge issues. Wedges are designed to split and in this case, split the electorate for political and financial power.
We have three options. Take the pain or lose your freedom and liberties. The last solution is to break-up the united states along political ideology and give people a choice as to live the way our founding fathers and the constitution guides them or live in a progressive European socialized system of government.
I doubt this government will peacefully break up so a new violent guerilla revolution may occur. Riots, bombing, etc. no different then what been occurring for many centuries in other parts of the world with each side pointing fingers and labeling the opposition as terrorists.
“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the Public Treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the Public Treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy always followed by dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been two-hundred years. These nations have progressed throught this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to abundance; from abundance to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependence; from dependence back again into bondage.â€
