The Federal Reserve warned on Thursday that a growing congressional threat to curtail its independence would destabilize markets and raise the cost of servicing US debt for “current and future generations”.

How would looking at their books do all that!?! Sounds like a THREAT more than anything else.

“Curtail it’s independence”? They want to check the books, which would certainly curtail the Fed, but not their “independence” - rather their fraudulent manipulation. Bet on a veto if it passes, and Barak reappoints Ben.

The markets’ manipulation is as open a secret as water-boarding.
