This is a spending issue in a down economy and has nothing to do with party affiliation.

People don’t mind paying taxes when they are fair and for reasons we need like fire, police, school teachers etc. What people don’t like is a Government spending their money on bank bailouts, insurance companies and car companies for example. We don’t like our taxes to pay for overpriced green cars that simply are not needed. We don’t like deficits that continue to grow out of control. The secrecy and the non-transparency is what is wrong.
Obama is an easy target because he campaigned for change in all of these areas, but the reality is more of the same. In fact a whole lot more of the same to be quite honest. Bush may have spent but never like this guy is doing at the pace he is doing it at. Don’t forget the economy was rosy 6-8 years ago and people didn’t mind so much. Now we are in a near depression and you cannot spend and tax your way out from under that.
The tax party is only significant to taxes due to the date being April 15’th. The real story is our children’s children money being spent to keep these companies a float. They keep their bloated salaries, pensions, perks and most of them bonuses as well. All this while the middle class gets hammered into oblivion and our futures robbed to pay for this greed and corruption by Wall Street and Washington itself.
You could also pay better attention and listen a bit more to what is happening vs. what you are told by your messiah is happening… that would go along way in helping you to understand what is actually taking place in our country right now.
