This is much like the Titanic after it hit the ice berg.

They had the band playing on the deck trying to calm the people as much as possible. To the casual observer every thing looked ok, but make no mistake the Titanic’s fate was already sealed. This is the FED/Governments band that is now playing to calm the masses. This paying back the TARP money is trying to signal that all is well, but all is not well. These mobster banks that are” too big to fail”are mortally wounded and their fate is just as sealed as that great ship from yesteryear. These banks that use deceptive accounting rules are insolvent. With a huge wave of ARMs due to reset in the next couple of years and huge derivatives time bombs. The only question in my mind is will these zombie banks pull down the Federal Government to the depths of an icy grave just like the Titanic. Make no mistake that is the Governments fate if they don’t cut the rope to them. The ship that was too big to fail, that not even God himself could sink, met it’s fate. Just like these banks that are too big to fail will meet their well deserved fate.
