United Airlines took my hair: Mother forced to cut off her locks being covered in SUPERGLUE during flight

A passenger was forced to cut off a chunk of her hair after superglue became stuck in it during a United Airlines flight.

Karen Reed, a mother of two, was traveling with her children from San Diego to Houston when the unpleasant incident occurred.

She had just boarded the plane when a maintenance worker asked her to step out from her seat so he could fix an overhead luggage bin.

Matted: Karen Reed, was on a flight from San Diego to Houston with her two children, when superglue was dripped on her hair, leaving her with no option but to cut it out

The employee ran super glue around the edge of the compartment which Mrs Reed said began to drip down on to her seat.

The maintenance worker replaced the cushion of her seat – which was covered in glue – but then walked away.

Mrs Reed had no option but to take her seat as the flight was full and she had to look after her children.

A flight attendant offered her a blanket to sit on and pointed out that she had glue in her hair.

She told ABC: ‘At this moment I’m sitting on super glue, I can feel the clumps of glue in my hair, I’m tired and I’m ready to get home.’
