I just posted about just a FEW of the stores closed overnight. The company is behind rent in ALL stores by 3-4 months. I am an ex Omaha manager.
HV - Lincoln Neb - 27th Street Store - (closed overnight last Wednesday)
HV - Lincoln Neb - 66th Street Store (An outlet store that will be gone within a few weeks)
MG - Nebraska City - Just finished up liquidation.
MG - Small town Neb - cannot remember exact town closed 2 months ago.
HV - Omaha Neb - Papillion - Closed over night 3 weeks ago.
HV - Omaha, Neb - L Street Store - Closed overnight 2 weeks ago.
HV - Omaha, Neb - 1823 W Broadway - overnight close.
HV - Omaha, Neb - 156th st store is also a outlet store that is no longer getting new movies. They will be closed within a few weeks as well.
And from articles around the country:
Marshal-town Iowa
Springfield, Ore
Mankato, Min
Minneapolis, Min
Ann Arbour, Michigan
Rocky Mount, Co
Roseville, Ca (2 locations)
Sacramento, Ca (multiple locations)
Bellingham, WA
Spokane, WA (3 locations)
Beaver Dam, WI
Sylva, NC
Leicester, NC
Hendersonville, NC (and many more in NC)
Kevil, KY
All overnight grab and go closes. Thats from doing abut 10 min research on the internet. Obviously I live in Omaha. I doubt it will be 400 stores. It seems at this rate it will be more like 1000+. The company is dying it is obvious.
