It’s amusing to read about all the economist speculation and different polls concerning the economy. I certainly hope we will begin to pull out of the recession soon. But until we start to see real job growth(non-government jobs), we will remain in the bottom of the V or U or W. And the cost after recover to future generations caused by the current administration’s spending programs will likely dampen growth rate for years to come.
No one calls the recession is over but the consumers! AND consumer needs a job!
“I live in South Carolina, and the unemployment rate here is at 12.1% and rising. The government wants to try and lull us into a false sense of security so we wont see what is going on or what they are doing. Personally I learn the truth and make up my own mind. Until I see 500,000+ jobs added a month for a quarter or two, I will not believe the recession is over.” - Mike
- We have no money and carry debts
- We spend more than we have.
- Banks tighten up lending standards make it harder for people qualify for a loan.
- Government is printing money, inflation will eventually kill us.
I wish government would take a poll of the people out of work and let them answer this question, not the elites in some University or corporation.
