New York, NY – September 2, 2008 - Westwood One (NYSE: WON), the exclusive radio home of the
National Football League (NFL), presents the 57 game 2008-2009 NFL broadcast schedule, featuring the
Opening Night game, Monday, Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday Night games, Thanksgiving Day games,
Sunday Afternoon Doubleheaders, the NFL Playoffs, the AFC and NFC Championships, Super Bowl XLIII
from Tampa and the Pro Bowl. Westwood One’s 22nd consecutive season of NFL Football coverage begins
Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. ET as the defending Super Bowl champion N.Y. Giants host the
Washington Redskins.
In addition to the 57 game primetime package, Westwood One will also present a weekly Sunday
afternoon doubleheader starting Sunday, September 7, 2008 and continuing each Sunday through December
28, 2008. The first eight weeks of doubleheader match-ups are included within the below schedule, while the
remaining ten weeks will be chosen as the season progresses to ensure the best possible games. The
second-half of Sunday night game schedule will not be announced until approximately two weeks prior to
game day for the same reason. All stations airing Westwood One’s NFL Football coverage can be found

The Westwood One Monday Night Football broadcast team includes play-by play announcer Marv Albert,
color analyst Boomer Esiason and pre-game and halftime host Jim Gray. The Sunday Night broadcast crew
consists of play-by play announcer Dave Sims and color analyst Jim Fassel as well as pregame and halftime
host Tommy Tighe. The Thursday Night Football broadcast team includes play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle,
color analyst Dennis Green, and sideline reporter Hub Arkush. Rounding out the crews will be Bill Rosinski
and Dan Reeves, and Harry Kalas and Mark Malone for Westwood One’s Sunday afternoon doubleheaders.
