Important to keep in mind: Twitter is not the only platform this was happening on. US (and likely also foreign) intelligence agencies have been moderating, boosting, and deranking content on all social media platforms for years. This would seem self evident to many but the internal discussions referenced the Twitter files clearly prove this to be the case.

Remember the sharp turns in policy and enforcement on Reddit between 2016-2018? Remember the mass banning of the vast majority of anti establishment subs during a short window?Now we have way better context of what was happening behind the scenes
