When you ask how much it costs to build, install, and maintain wind and solar, compared to how much energy they produce over their useful life, the greens will not answer that question.
They’ll claim the cost doesn’t matter because reducing carbon dioxide is far more important.

The fact that production of turbines and solar panels creates more carbon dioxide than they will ever save is something they will never admit, i.e. the fact that by the time a turbine is close to breaking even, it needs to be replaced.
The same with solar panels.
The only thing that allows a project to operate in the black is massive government subsidies.
A large wind turbine needs 600 gallons of oil to lubricate the entire system which needs to be changed every month.
That’s bot exactly environmentally friendly.
The rare Earth materials for solar panels are strip mined and produce toxic byproducts.
Not that nuclear materials don’t, but a small amount of fissile material produces more energy than a few thousand wind turbines.
Every liberal policy results in absolute failure.
The policies do however let those in charge of them generate massive amounts of personal wealth.
So the insanity continues.
