The kosher New York Times is still blaming “the economic effects of COVID” for the huge rise in homicides in the last two years, despite the fact that no other countries who suffered from COVID are having this rise in crime.
What America does have that’s unique is cities where law and order has collapsed due to racial narratives.
The homicide rate is also the best metric to judge an area’s crime because it’s extremely hard for authorities to hide it. A murder is a murder. With property crimes and petty crimes, cities can (and do) fudge the numbers.
Hey, NYT, who’s doing it? Just keep saying “diversity is our strength” and everything bad will go away.
