I just ran across this story recently- maybe it’s well known, but it was the first I’d heard of it. This feels pretty legit. Along with the sword, the coins, and other Roman artifacts found in America (plus two similar wrecks in Galveston and Honduras), there’s a lot of trace evidence- when considered together, it definitely seems like the Romans crossed the Atlantic. The crazy thing with this story is how far the Brazilian government went to cover up the find. What do you think?
