Arctic chill to bring 30s for first time in 11 years to Miami
MIAMI – Floridians living Miami will be grabbing the blankets this weekend, as the coldest temperatures in over 11 years arrive Sunday morning.
The chill will sure be felt with a low bottoming out to 38 degrees. The last time temperatures dropped below 40 degrees in Miami was on Dec. 28, 2010.

A punishing winter storm is expected to sweep across parts of the U.S. East Coast this weekend and could develop into a major nor’easter, forecasters warned.
New England is likely to take the brunt of the freezing weather late Friday, with scattered power outages and some damage to property possible, the National Weather Service said.
Winter storm watches were issued for parts of eastern Massachusetts, eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island, and are set to go into effect early Saturday.
The storm is expected to develop over the weekend, causing disruption as far as North Carolina, and blanketing metro areas including Boston, New York City and Washington, D.C., with snow.
