“When the advance of the bandits was blocked, the first person they called was Emmanuel Sanon,” said the director of the Haiti National Police.
The Haitian authorities announced this Sunday the arrest of one of the alleged masterminds of the assassination of President Jovenel Moise, Dr. Emmanuel Sanon.
“When the advance of the bandits was blocked, the first person they called was Emmanuel Sanon,” said the director general of the Haitian National Police, Léon Charles.
On Saturday, Haiti National Police Chief Leon Charles alluded to Sanon, though he did not name him. He said that the suspects, including the two Haitian Americans, confirmed that they worked for a company “based in the U.S. and Colombia…. [which] worked with the two Haitian Americans and a high-profile doctor here.”
