Ukraine’s Senior Military Leadership May Have Been Wiped Out in Sunday Night’s Chasov Yar Airstrike

The Chasov Yar air strike from Sunday Night is turning out to be a much bigger event, and a larger tragedy for Ukraine than first thought.

Two major US-trained units completely wrecked.

It looks like the 8th Special Operations detachment was doing security for a high-level meeting, likely final orders for the Offensive around Bahkmut, and the Russians pounded it. The commander of this unit was killed as well.

In addition to the French lead reporter in Ukraine, there have been obits for several senior staff officers come out in the last couple of days.

The Commander of the Ukrainian Armed forces is missing.
The Chief of staff of the Ukrainian Armed forces is missing.

And now it is confirmed that Zelenski’s chief advisor, Aleksey Titarenko, was killed at the same time, likely in the same strike.

I think this is why the offensive hasn’t started. Ukraine’s Senior Military leadership all got whacked. And probably their NATO minders, as well.

Details are still sketchy, but Tele sources say the site was hit with two glide-equipped FAB-500 1,200lb. Bombs.
